COLLEGE ADVISERS
Hello and welcome! College Advisers are members of the Georgia College Advising Corps, and they are here to serve Midtown High School, working to increase the number of post-secondary opportunities available to underserved students as well as increase the amount of first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students who attend and complete higher education. See how you can get support in developing your student's post-secondary plans!

Adam Jolliff
Adam Jolliff uses he/him pronouns, and he is from Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2023. He majored in psychology with a minor in anthropology. He likes running, listening to music, and playing golf. This is his second year as a Georgia College Advising Corps College Adviser, and he is excited to return to Midtown and continue supporting students and families as they navigate planning for life after high school. He intends to complete a Masters in Public Health.
Amel Jackson
Amel Jackson uses she/her pronouns and was born Baltimore, MD and raised in Huntsville, AL. She graduated in May of 2025 from Agnes Scott College with a Bachelors of Arts in History. In her free time, Ms. Jackson loves being outside, hanging out with friends & family, baking, and spending time with her two dogs! She intends to pursue a master's degree in Public History in the future. This is her first year as a Georgia College Advising Corps College Adviser, and she is so excited to serve the students and families at Midtown High School.
