ACT & SAT Testing

Many colleges require you to submit your SAT or ACT score. The number of test-optional colleges increased during Covid; some schools have reinstated the test and others have not. Check the schools on your list to see if you need to submit your scores, and if you do, register soon. Seniors should plan to have testing completed before their applications are due. Check with your counselor to see if you qualify for a fee waiver.

You can find schedules on the SAT and ACT websites. Pay close attention to registration dates to have more flexibility in locations and dates.

Preparation:

Make sure to prepare for the test beforehand. You can take a paid class, but there are also free online options.
